- Elongated hind legs and long ears.
Lifecycle
- Breeds January – August. Gestation period 4 weeks.
- 2 – 4 litters per annum. 3 – 6 young per litter.
- May conceive 2 days after giving birth.
Habits
- Found in hedgerows, banking, woods, gardens, farms etc.
- Juveniles move up to 4km after breeding season.
- Damage caused by rabbits is estimated at £100 million per annum.
